The word Holistic means “whole” and Holistic medicine has been around for centuries. The most commonly knows form of holistic medicine is Ayurveda, which uses the medicinal properties of plants/herbs to treat illnesses.

Holistic Healing principle is that any issue or illness that we are experiencing has its roots in an imbalance in our energy ecosystem. As an example, the back pain that a person is experiencing could be a result of blocked emotions and holding on to the past. Once the imbalance in the energy system is cleared, the physical symptoms also fade away restoring full health and vitality in the system. Our bodies remember everything and we hold on to a lot more stuff than we may realise. Anger, fear, trauma, guilt etc. if suppressed may cause blockages in the system.
